International Anointed Ministries is actively involved in numerous ministries within the church and the community at large. These ministries are carried out by departments consisting of members of the congregation and by the church itself as an organisation. We encourage each member, whether recently-joined or long-time, to be actively involved in one or more of these ministry departments. IAM Worship Team:
The IAM Worship team assists the ministry in outlining and planning worship services, particularly special services and leading worship sessions in church services. The Department works with the Fine Arts Group for events such as worship and praise ralliers, Annual concerts and other musical presentations.
The purpose of this ministry is to win kids to Christ and grow them spiritually. Adults can be a part of this ministry by helping in the classrooms during services, by volunteering with sponsoring Kids especially the many orphaned to go back to school.
As a way of extending a helping hand to the children, Anointed Upper Room Church, through International Anointed Ministries has embarked on a project, Anointed Children Care Center, whose main focus is to mobilise support for the orphaned and helpless children so that they too can be able to enjoy the life that an average child enjoys.
Evangelism / Missions Ministry
Local and international mission opportunities exist for travel and cultural interchanges though still at a small scale. As one of its major goals, IAM organises several evangelistic missions to different parts of Uganda. These involve crusades where the good news is taken to the world and thereafter assistance is given to the newly converts interms of clothes, food and other basic needs.
Women's Ministry
We love to worship, study and simply have fun together in comfortable, casual settings. If you want to meet new friends and grow in your walk with the Lord, you've found the right place. We offer relevant Bible studies, small groups, support groups, and activities for women in every season of life.
Prayer & Care Ministries
The Care and Prayer Ministry offers hope and help in times of pain or crisis for families, singles, children & adults of all ages through Counseling, home visits and Pastoral Care. We also provide pastoral guidance, support and services for weddings.
The Prayer Ministry exists to empower vision and objectives of International Anointed Ministries through the active practice of prayer. This is accomplished by giving every member and attender at Anointed Upper Room Church the opportunity to learn and live out what it means to be a person of prayer.
Prayer Missions like going to the prayer mountain for intercessory prayers are organised so that the fire of prayer can be kept burning at IAM.
