Anointed Upper Room Church
|
Anointed Upper Room church is a vibrant, growing, non-denominational, multi-cultural church located at Kamwokya, Kampala Uganda, founded in 1996. Since 1996 Anointed Upper Room churh has grown from 37 members to over 1,500 members who are inspired and equipped to extend the love and saving power of our Lord Jesus Christ to their respective communities. Our major goal is winning souls for Jesus Christ and setting the captives free.
The International Anointed Ministries seek to impact the lives of people, showing then the love of Jesus Christ. Through preaching the gospel and extending a helping hand to those in need. We believe that together we can, Change the World and Win it for Christ Jesus.

| Our Objectives / Commitments |
| 1. Evangelism |
International Anointed Ministries’ first priority is to spread the gospel of the World’s Savior Jesus Christ in both the local and international communities in which it is working. We train missionaries, organize crusades and send out missionaries on evangelism missions as a way of fulfilling this objective

| 2. Community Welfare |
|
|
International Anointed Ministries is committed to improvement of social welfare of its members through the instruments of counseling and support for troubled members of society. Counseling mainly covers areas of sickness and disease especially on the rampant epidemic (AIDS/HIV), poverty alleviation, handling grief (for example, after the loss of a loved one). Healing and support for those that are mentally and emotionally wounded, those afraid of the unknown. By meeting these crucial human need we hope to see a better society in which we live.

| 3. Social Service and Capacity Building |

We have a vision of establishing and constructing hospitals, social rehabilitation centers and schools in order to cater for the sick and needy people, improve on the illeteracy levels of our communities as we train and equip tommorrows leaders.

| 4. Building International Anointed Ministries’ Headquarters |
|
|
International Anointed Ministries intends to have its headquarters in Uganda, East Africa, although it will open different ministry branches in various parts of the world. As part of the headquarters, there is a vision of building a 20,000 capacity Anointed Upper Room Cathedral, a bible school, ministers’ offices, ministers’ apartments, orphanage homes, schools and hospitals.

| 5. Job Creation |
This ministry aims at becoming an employer of the people within which it’s operational. Through development projects like poultry, animal husbandry and other resourceful activities, the International Anointed Ministries can be a channel of a blessing to society.

| 6. Nationalism |
| This ministry hopes to foster national unity through bringing together people of different walks of life, ethnic groups, political affiliations, race, age, education and social status. In this way, we hope to contribute to development of our communities, nation and world at large. |
